Behind the main square

The main square of my town called "Plateia Dimarheiou" City Hall square. Although, there are many coffee shops and restaurants in this square behind it there is an empty area that really makes it dangerous and ugly. In the morning many cars park there and in the night people gor there to deal for drugs. When it rains the whole area becomes muddy. Ileave next to this square and every day I am witness of this problem. The local authorities don't care to develop and to improve this area. They interest only on the firsty sight issues.

Traditional Custome in North Greece two days before the christmas. Each destrict of a town or neighbour, today do a friendly and warmly fests with fires, foods, beverages (wine) and dances. This custome called "Kolida"; which was the name of the woman who helped Holy Madonna to bring Jesus in life. So from today Christians make fires in order to warm the Jesus and to show the place where the Jesus was born. In nowdays it's use as a sign for Jesus birth.

Although it’s the beginning of winter, last Saturday the weather was extremely good. During the early afternoon the situation changed since was starting to rain for a while but after an hour it stopped and the sun came out brighter and warmer than before. People enjoyed walking and doing shopping. Tsimiski is the main trade road in Thessaloniki in one way direction. Square emporiou (Commercial Square) it’s close to the end of Tsimiski street. Ten years ago this area was reconstructed by European funds in order to keep safe the monumental buildings of this area. In nowadays the area doesn’t seem to have the same energy and vividly that it used to have before.

In muslim world the rice is included in their daily menu. It is easily to find it in every small or big restaurant or in outside food seller. This metal object(funnel) is useful to extract the humidity from the rice and box too.

Kehros is a village in the north part of Greece close to Bulgarian borders. The inhabitants of this village belong to the muslim minority. They cultivate the fields and they have farm animals in order to use them in their hard daily routine as it is the rural life. They leave their animals free to move in the streets of the village.

Istanbul shooting game

Seaside of Istanbul. People walk next to sea side during the week. On Sundays many people visiting the area for having their lunch outside of their houses. Little merchants and youngsters work in that area in order to earn some money. Here, young people offering an entertainment shooting game for two turkish pounds 6 shots.
